TORRE DE LA HORADADA

Torre de la Horadada is an attractive small town situated on the Orihuela Costa and close to the border between the Provinces of Alicante and Murcia. One notable feature of the town is the sixteenth century watch tower, one of several built by King Philip II as protection against pirates, who were a major problem in those days. The tower has been renovated and is registered within Spain's Historical Heritage as a monument of cultural significance.

The property is situated some 10 miles from Murcia (St Javier) International Airport. Torre de la Horadada is also served by frequent local and long distance buses.
